This time I bring you a post that depending on how it turns out will be made into a “Start of the weekend post” meaning it will be posted every Friday. This one is about what we do in order to keep ourselves grounded in this fast paced world we live in. Today as soon as I woke up couldn’t help but feel stressed. I knew there were a lot to be done in the day and not a lot of time to do so therefore I was procrastinating. After I headed out to face the day and had finished everything, I ended up feeling exhausted and completely drained of energy.
The feeling was so extreme, it took plenty of effort to even walk (Dragging my feet was more like it). I knew something had to be done but that something had to be more subtle and effective than a simple “nap” to re-charge my batteries so to speak. I decided to go and emerge myself in the beautiful bounty the universe offers called nature, right at the comfort of my own home. There is no other feeling like the one that is felt once you interact with such beauty; it is clearly a divine connection. Along with wonderful soothing music, a drink in hand (non-alcoholic by the way) and reciting my favorite mantra (breathe-believe-receive) this was clearly what the doctor ordered.
After an hour or so of continuous gazing at the wonderful sky, listening to the sounds of the birds and the trees, the wind in my face and countless of other wonderful things, I felt like a complete new person ready to take on the rest of the day like a warrior in battle. So I dare to ask, what do *you* do in order to release the stress caused by everyday life?
Shall we share a penny for *your* thoughts?
